A spring day, not too hot; not too cold; sunny with a gentle breeze

Do you listen to music when you write?
No: I always keep those activities separate
If your latest book were chocolate, what kind would it be and why?
It would be the dark, bitter variety. I associate this with Switzerland, a key point for many exciting adventures
What made you interested in writing this particular story?
My own wishful thinking; I wish I had done/experienced such things
What themes do you regularly (re)visit in your writing?
Sensuality, inhibition and introspection
Tell us about your main character’s psyche or personality. What led her (or him) to be the person s/he is today?
My main character is in some ways very cool and attached, in other ways very vulnerable. She has a hard struggle to regulate her latent desires.
Describe your protagonist as a mash-up of three famous people or characters.
Virginia Woolf, Anais Nin and Meryl Streep
