This One’s For The Kitties

We interrupt our regularly scheduled month of posts with the theme of Frozen to bring you the Pins and Needles Cotton Candy Christmas Giveaway!

We mysteristas are not only mystery lovers, we’re animal lovers too. And in SUEDE TO REST, two little kittens are rescued from a Dumpster behind a fabric shop. Now, thanks to Poly Monroe, the owner of said fabric shop, and the good people at Penguin Publishing who allowed me to tell her story, those kittens, Pins and Needles, have a fun, fabric-filled home. This being their very first virtual Christmas, they want to celebrate! Pins Needles Cotton Kitten CandyPins and Needles talked Poly into making cotton candy-shaped cat toys (with catnip, of course!). If you think your kitty would like one, click here. Bonus: for every kitty toy I ship out, I’ll make and donate one to our local cat shelter.  I’d love to give them a whole big basket!

Read all about how Poly discovers and names Pins and Needles in SUEDE TO REST, out now and available from booksellers everywhere.suedetorest

  1. Pins and Needles are adorable! I was very excited to find Suede to Rest in my local B&N. It is now on my TBR stack, right after current read.

  2. I just finished reading the wonderful SUEDE TO REST last night…so I know how they are discovered and named (but I’m not telling). 🙂

You are so creative to make those adorable cat toys and so kind to 1:1 them, Diane.

  3. Love! Those are fantastic. My munchkin has started making fleece pet beds for the local shelter, and is quickly becoming passionate about sewing and designing (I’m no help in either area). She’ll love to see this (its sewing AND cats–two favorite things)! Thanks for sharing (and donating!).

  4. What a great way to promote Suede to Rest and provide great gifts for cats. The local animal shelter kitties must be very pleased. I am looking forward to reading your book.
